On the last few days of Mental Health Awareness Month, make sure you take time out for you!
Self-care is not selfish.
It's essential for all of us to make sure we stay regulated and find the joy in everyday life. Self-care can look like anything that gives you a few moments out of your regular routine to step away and re-center yourself. It could be as simple as stepping outside to enjoy the weather or enjoy pets with your favorite four-legged companion - all the way to something more involved like knitting a sweater or putting together a puzzle.
Anything can be self-care as long as you prioritize yourself in the moment and find it rejuvenating!
