Welcoming a new baby brings big changes, and it’s normal to experience a wide range of emotions.

The baby blues are common and typically improve within the first two weeks after delivery. Postpartum depression is different. Symptoms are more intense, last longer, and can make it difficult to care for yourself or your baby.

If you or someone you love is experiencing persistent sadness, anxiety, hopelessness or feeling disconnected after childbirth, know that you’re not alone and help is available. Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

💕 If you’re concerned about postpartum depression or have questions about your mental health after pregnancy, our team at Mountain Utah Family Medicine is here to support you. Call 435-896-9651 to schedule an appointment.

Weight loss isn’t one-size-fits-all, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

School is almost here and one of the easiest ways to prepare for a healthy school year is making sure your child’s immunizations are up to date! 🍎✏️

If your child is starting kindergarten, entering 7th grade or you’re unsure whether they’re current on their vaccines, now is the perfect time to check. Utah schools require proof of immunization for attendance unless an exemption applies.

Mountain Utah Family Medicine participates in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program, which offers vaccines at no cost for eligible children, helping families stay on schedule and protected.

Don’t wait until the first week of school, call us today to schedule your child’s immunization appointment.

Fair season and Friday night lights are almost here!

Whether you’re spending the day at the Sevier County Fair, watching kids show livestock or cheering from the football stands, don’t let dehydration sideline your fun.

Utah’s late-summer heat can catch up to you quickly. Bring a refillable water bottle, sip water throughout the day and watch for early signs of dehydration like dizziness, headache, fatigue or dark urine, especially in children and older adults.

Stay hydrated so you can enjoy every moment this season. If you have concerns about dehydration or heat-related illness, our team is here to help.
