Join the Richland Hospital Foundation on Monday, August 17 from 11 AM–1 PM in the hospital parking lot for some FREE ice cream! 🍨

There’s no cost to enjoy a treat, but free-will donations will be accepted to support the Richland Hospital Foundation and the work we do to help make a healthier tomorrow possible.

World RxTech Day is October 20 — and this year, we're putting our message on a label.

While some organizations have been focusing on designing a piece of flash art for the occasion, we've been busy building on our message about the true impact pharmacy technicians make.

We built this year's campaign around the one thing every pharmacy technician already knows by heart: the label.

Retail, hospital, long-term care, compounding, mail-order, nuclear, veterinary — the setting changes, but the label doesn't. It's small. It's easy to overlook. And it carries the exact instructions that keep patients safe. Sound familiar?

That's the point. Pharmacy technicians are the label of this profession — universal, essential, on every prescription that moves — and far more than the fine print people assume. This year's design is styled after the auxiliary and pharmacy labels you handle every shift, because the message is simple: look closer. There's more here than "just a tech."

It builds on everything we've stood for from the start — More Than Just a Tech — and takes it one step further: not only who you are, but the impact you make.

Because recognizing technicians was never meant to be a once-a-year graphic. It's a message we've carried for years — and one we'll keep making louder, one prescription at a time.
