From helping women access mammograms to standing with families affected by Coldwater Creek radiation exposure. The Pink Angels is a foundation dedicated to helping those diagnosed with breast cancer. It's a organization that encourages you to hang up your wings and allow us to carry you through such journey. As a foundation we are also devoted to raise awareness in the community regarding this de

adly disease called breast cancer. It is with early detection that LIVES ARE SAVED. The Pink Angels Foundation is funded with generous contributions from our support angels and survivors. The funds donated are used to provide financial services in addition to moral support for breast cancer patients.

MEDICAID UPDATE!!!

GREAT NEWS FROM Senator Hawleys team (who has been working hard behind the scenes for us)!

RECA is exempt, as income and resource, when determining eligibility for other benefits including Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, Social Security, and disability.

It is easiest to open a separate bank account and have the RECA compensation directly deposited into this separate account. It can be a checking or savings account, but it is important to try to have this second account for RECA.

RECA compensation still needs to be reported to the Missouri Department of Social Services.

1) Call 855-373-4636

2) Tell the representative that you are reporting RECA radiation payment—be prepared to give the amount and the bank account number (EVEN if it is a separate account)

You may also submit a change report by mail or at a local resource center with this information.

And that’s a wrap on our very first Heal Girl Heal Women’s Conference! 💕

What a weekend. What a space. What a beautiful reminder of what can happen when women come together and give themselves permission to heal, connect, laugh, rest, learn, and simply BE.

To every woman who entered this space, thank you for trusting us. Thank you for allowing yourselves to be vulnerable and for sharing your stories, your tears, your laughter, your strength, and even the parts of your journey that are still healing.

We do not take lightly what you entrusted to this space or to one another. It was an honor to create a place where women could exhale, feel safe, be seen, be heard, restore, and simply receive. The honesty, encouragement, sisterhood, laughter, and love shared throughout the weekend were everything we hoped for and more.

To our incredible speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, partners, and everyone who poured into this weekend, THANK YOU! Your time, resources, wisdom, gifts, encouragement, and presence helped make Heal Girl Heal everything we prayed and hoped it would be.

We came together with different stories and different journeys, but we left reminded of just how powerful healing in community can be.

Our first conference may be over, but the healing doesn’t stop here.

We had a great evening at St. Charles Christian Church talking all things RECA with area residents, Amanda from Senator Josh Hawley’s office, and our friends at Just Moms STL. Great questions, great conversations, and great community! 🫶🏽

St. Louis County Library and Just Moms STL will be there to help with:

* RECA claim forms
* Residency research and documentation
* Questions about supporting records
* General guidance on next steps
