Sometimes birth doesn’t unfold the way we imagined it would. & in the midst of the moments we wish could have been different, the photographs can become something tangible to hold onto.

Reminders of the love, strength, and beauty that were there, even in the hard moments.

Beyond honored to have been by Savannah & Dylan’s side as they brought their sweet third baby into this world. 🤍

And in the midst of the moments we wish had been different, we can still hold onto the hope that God is faithful.

My 2027 calendar is open for doula support + birth photography 💓

I intentionally take on a very limited number of families each year so I can give each mom the time, attention, and support she deserves. Birth is such a special season, and it’s an honor to walk alongside families as they welcome their babies.

We were watching clips from it again tonight and yall. WHY IS MY HUSBAND SO ANXIOUS HES AGGRESSIVELY SHAKING HIS HAND 😂😭

I want to get a bunch of men together and survey what goes through their minds when their wives are in labor because what is even happening 😂😭

✨ International Homebirth Day✨

Our homebirth with Kai was such a dream. & I’ll never not talk about it. Forever in awe of Gods goodness. Forever thankful for my birth team. & forever going to share these photos from Ashley Blaney Photography because I’m not sure I’ll print them and put them all over my house (despite wanting to 🤪)

One of the greatest honors of this work is being invited into spaces where women feel safe enough to fully surrender to birth.

Home birth carries such a sacred atmosphere, and I would love to serve more families in that setting as I continue expanding my birth photography portfolio.

I currently have space for:
• 1 mid–late September birth
• 1 mid–late November birth
• 1 January birth
• 1 February birth

These sessions are being offered in a limited capacity and at a special portfolio-building rate.

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers rocking babies in the middle of the night, the mothers guiding grown children, the mothers waiting with hopeful hearts, and the mothers carrying love for babies they have not yet met or have already had to say goodbye to.

To birth mothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, stepmothers, and every woman who pours love, wisdom, gentleness, and strength into the lives around her.

To the women building homes filled with warmth, safety, laughter, prayer, and belonging.

To the mothers showing up day after day in the ordinary moments that quietly shape generations.

To the women nurturing life with their hands, their presence, and their hearts.

Motherhood is sacred work.
It is meaningful work.
It is Kingdom work.

And whether your motherhood feels full today, tender today, long-awaited, or deeply remembered, you are worthy of being honored.

I whisper it when I’m tired,
When I’ve lost my patience,
When I feel like I’ve failed again.

Make me patient when they’re loud,
Make me gentle when they test me,
Make me brave when I’m unsure.

And when I can’t be all those things,
Remind me that grace covers what strength cannot.

Because at the end of each long day,
I don’t need to be perfect—

With love, with faith, with You beside me.
