**F*ck Assumptions 🚫🧠**
Assumptions are like putting on rose-colored glasses. They blur reality with expectations, half-truths, and stories we tell ourselves. Why? Because it’s easier than facing uncertainty or questioning deeply held beliefs. But here's the thing: assumptions are just mental shortcuts—they aren't facts.
So, next time you catch yourself assuming, stop. Don’t assume, *just ask*. 🗣️
When we question assumptions, we’re forced to confront whether they’re facts or opinions, whether they align with our values, or are just ways to protect our comfort zone. You might even realize that something you thought was a value is actually just a need.
For those of us with ADHD, cognitive biases and assumptions are even trickier—our brains *love* a good story to stay engaged! But those stories cloud our judgment. It’s time to take off the rose-colored glasses and challenge our thinking. 🌫️
Let’s stop letting assumptions run the show and start embracing the clarity that comes from asking the hard questions. 💡
