You keep telling yourself you’ll get to you when things calm down.
But what if life doesn’t slow down anytime soon?

There will always be responsibilities to manage, people to show up for, and something that needs your attention.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, your own needs keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

When you’re used to being the dependable one, prioritizing yourself can feel uncomfortable.
You may even feel like you need permission to do it.

You don’t.

You don’t have to wait until the kids are older, your schedule is lighter, or you have everything figured out to seek support.

You can do the work while raising your children, navigating your relationships, managing your career, and figuring out what you need along the way.

You deserve support in the life you’re living right now, not just the life you hope will eventually slow down. 💛

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to prioritize your mental health, let this be your reminder that you’re allowed to start now.

You can be a high achiever and still have moments when your emotions get the best of you.

You can be self-aware and still feel yourself slipping into an old pattern.
You can know better and still have to work at responding differently.

Maybe it’s the frustration that comes out sharper than you intended with your child.
The urge to shut down when a conversation with your partner gets uncomfortable.
The familiar instinct to take control, pull away, or make everything okay before anyone gets upset.

But growth isn’t measured by whether you never fall into those patterns again.

Sometimes, it looks like catching yourself before you react.
Coming back to a conversation you wanted to avoid.
Recognizing what’s happening without turning that awareness into another reason to criticize yourself.

That matters.

Because the goal isn’t to become a woman who never struggles.
It’s to become a woman who can recognize what’s happening within her and choose what she does next.

And that work doesn’t stop when your therapy session ends.
It happens in the conversations, relationships, and everyday moments where you get to practice something different.

You don’t have to get it right every time for your growth to be real.

Give yourself credit for the moments you handle differently, even when no one else notices.

Have you ever wondered why you’re the one who always handles everything?

Why asking for help feels uncomfortable.
Why you feel guilty saying no.
Why you keep pushing yourself even when you’re exhausted.
Or why, when everything gets to be too much, you just want to disappear for a while?

Sometimes, these patterns are about more than personality.

You may have learned to be the fixer because you couldn’t count on someone else to handle it.

You may have become the perfectionist because getting it wrong didn’t feel safe.

You may have learned to keep everyone happy because conflict came at a cost.

And you may have learned to keep achieving because being still leaves you wondering if you’re doing enough.

These patterns can become so familiar that we stop questioning them. We just call ourselves “the responsible one,” “the strong one,” or “the one who has it together.”

But what if you got curious about the why behind the way you show up?

Not to blame yourself. Not to make yourself another project to fix.

But to understand the parts of you that learned to operate this way, and decide whether they’re still serving you.

You can appreciate the ways you’ve learned to cope without requiring yourself to keep coping the same way forever. 🤎

Which part of yourself did you recognize in this post?

The fixer.
The perfectionist.
The caretaker.
The peacemaker.
The one who never needs anything.

These parts of you didn’t appear out of nowhere.
They developed for a reason.
Healing doesn’t have to begin with getting rid of them.
Sometimes it begins with understanding why they showed up in the first place.

And in order to understand that, you have to be willing to go deeper.

If you’re ready to explore the versions of at the root,
I’m ready to help you along the way.

High-achieving women are often praised for how much they can carry. But rarely do we stop to ask why they feel responsible for carrying so much in the first place.

Sometimes, what looks like discipline is fear of disappointing someone. What looks like independence is difficulty receiving support. What looks like being the strong one is a pattern learned when being anything else didn’t feel safe.

And those patterns don’t always stay in childhood. They follow us into our relationships, our leadership, our parenting, and the way we speak to ourselves.

You can be proud of the woman you’ve become while still questioning the lessons that taught you how to survive.

Self-awareness isn’t about blaming your past. It’s about recognizing what you’ve been carrying so you can decide what deserves to come with you.

You don’t have to abandon your ambition to make room for healing. You just get to build a life where your worth isn’t measured by how much you can hold. 🤎

I have been so blessed to have the opportunity to coach and develop so many women.
But seeing what they took away from the experience means the world to me.

I never want you to join something based on my words alone.
So here’s what they had to say…….

Our next cohort starts tomorrow October 13.
Will you be brave and join us?

Coaching may not be for everyone, but if you’ve been curious, let’s talk about whether it’s for you.

And don’t just take my word for it. Take theirs! 💛

You might be surprised by how many women had doubts before joining a women’s coaching group.

They wondered what to expect, whether they would feel comfortable, and if it would actually help.

Those doubts didn’t stop them from showing up. And each left with a different outlook.

If you’re still thinking about HiveWork or feeling unsure, let’s set up a call tomorrow and talk it through.

You can ask your questions, and we can see if this is a good fit for you.

Our next cohort starts this Tuesday, October 13, and no, you’re not too late.
You’re right on time. 🐝
