🔨🐹 Whack-a-Mole was a HIT this week! Our residents had a blast trying to “whack” the Activity Director, Activity Assistant, and even Holly 🐾 as they popped up through the holes! There were plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and smiles all around. Activities like this help encourage movement, coordination, focus, and most importantly… FUN! 💙

Nothing brings people together quite like laughter, creativity, and a little Christmas magic! 🎄✨ Our Christmas in July group therapy activity had everyone busy making colorful pom-pom elves, and the best part was hearing what name each resident gave their elf. We loved seeing every resident’s creativity shine!

Today we jumped on the latest trend with our very own Dirty Soda Bar! 🥤✨

Everyone got to mix their favorite soda with fun add-ins to create their own unique drink. There were lots of smiles, a few surprised faces, and plenty of taste-testing!

The verdict? We’d call it a success! Almost everyone gave their dirty soda two thumbs up… except for one resident, who politely informed us it was “not for me.” 😂

Trying new things together is just one more way we make memories, share laughs, and keep life fun. 💙✨

🍑 Happy National Peach Ice Cream Day! 🍑

Today we celebrated with refreshing Outshine Peach Bars before trying out our brand-new Wii Sports game! 🎮

It was definitely a learning experience as we figured everything out, but the laughter, smiles, and friendly competition made it so much fun. We’re excited to keep exploring all the different games and activities the Wii has to offer. We can’t wait to see everyone’s skills improve and make even more great memories together!

🍕🔥 We fired up our new grill today to cook delicious personal pizzas handmade by our residents! A big thank you to the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association group for joining us and helping our residents create their own unique pizza masterpieces.

To make the day even more special, we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Ale-8-One with an Ale-8 tasting! 🎉🥤

What goes better together than handmade pizza and an ice-cold Ale-8? The smiles, laughter, and great memories made throughout the day were the perfect ingredients for a wonderful afternoon.

Our residents had a tropical treat today as we celebrated with delicious non-alcoholic piña coladas and a fun afternoon of painting!

There were plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed their drinks with family and friends while creating beautiful artwork. We love finding fun ways to brighten our residents’ days and make lasting memories together! 💛🌴🎨

Our therapy group had a fantastic time this morning trying out our brand-new bean bag tossing game! 🎯😊

A huge thank you to Kathy Halcomb for graciously donating this fun activity for our residents. Not only did everyone enjoy some friendly competition and lots of laughs, but they also got in a great workout by practicing their strength, coordination, and hand-eye coordination with every toss.

Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Ajah, LPN! 💙

Ajah has been a valued member of the Telford family for 7 years, and it has been an incredible journey watching her grow from a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

She is a wonderful nurse whose compassionate, caring, and nurturing nature shines through in everything she does. Ajah always greets others with a smile and consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care to our residents while supporting her teammates.

We are so grateful to have Ajah as part of the Telford team and are proud to celebrate all of her hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.

A heartfelt thank you to the Jemima Boone Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for their generous and thoughtful gift to Telford Terrace! 🇺🇸

We are so grateful for the beautiful handmade tattered American flag banner they created and donated to our facility. Their craftsmanship and patriotism make this a truly special addition to our home, especially as we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th Anniversary.

Our Independence Day celebration was made even more special thanks to Bob and Brenda Fugate! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bob and Brenda for sharing their time and talents with our residents by performing a wonderful selection of patriotic songs. Their music brought smiles, memories, and plenty of singing along as we celebrated the spirit of America together.

To top off the celebration, our residents enjoyed festive USA-themed fruit pizza cookies that were as delicious as they were beautiful!
