We’re investing in long-term community health through our Community Grant Program.

Developed in response to the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), these grants support ongoing partnerships that expand access to wellness, prevention, and chronic disease related programming across the region.

Funding strengthens established community initiatives focused on nutrition, physical activity, healthy aging, and youth wellness, supporting efforts led by Richmond Parks & Recreation, Connersville Parks & Recreation, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County to improve health outcomes and expand access to wellness opportunities.

This album highlights recipients of the Implementation Strategy grants.

🎉 Congratulations to Brooklyn Clark, recipient of the Officer Seara Burton and Brev Law Enforcement Scholarship!

A graduating senior from Richmond High School, Brooklyn plans to attend Indiana State University to study criminal justice and psychology as she pursues a career in public safety. Every job has its good days and its bad. Some people have a gift for making even the worst days look easy.

Take our Ambassador for the month of June for example. For the past five years, Christy Nicholson has served as a Customer Service Specialist for our Revenue Cycle Management team.

“Anyone who works in a call center knows some days each call seems to be harder than the last. You never hear that come through Christy's voice over the phone. She uses the same cheerful voice whether she’s talking to someone from the Administration team or an upset patient,” a co-worker said.

Nicholson describes herself as “a very loyal person.”

“I’ve always believed that to have a friend is to be a friend. That applies to my immediate family, my friends, and my co-workers currently and throughout my career,” she said.

🎉 CELEBRATION ALERT! 🎉

We held our fifth annual Practice of the Year Awards dinner in honor of our top-performing outpatient primary care and specialty care practices.

For the second year in a row, Reid Internal Medicine earned the top overall score for primary care, while Bethel Cardiology of Greenville came out first among our specialty care offices for the first time.

“Recognition like this matters because it affirms what our teams do every day — show up for patients with skill, compassion, and consistency,” said Dr. Rohit Bawa, Chair of our Network Oversight Council.

“Behind every strong outcome score is a front desk team that gets patients in the door, a clinical staff that builds real relationships, and providers who hold themselves to a high standard even when no one is watching. These awards remind us excellence in ambulatory care is a team sport, and Reid Health is fortunate to have practices that take that seriously.”
