Vascular disease often develops silently, but it doesn't have to stay that way.
Talk to your doctor about a vascular screening if you notice:
- Swelling in the ankles or legs
- Skin discoloration on the lower legs
- Leg cramps or pain when walking
- Wounds on the feet or toes that won't heal
- Varicose veins
- Aching or heaviness in the legs
Smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, and family history all raise your risk. The earlier it's caught, the better your outcome.
Ask VCS about the right screening for you.
