Waiting for the right time to leave often isn’t patience. It’s fear wearing a calendar.

Sometimes the reasons to wait are real. Sometimes they’re just fear dressed up as timing. It’s worth asking yourself honestly which one it is.

Comment or share if this one hit different.

People don’t come back to coaching because they failed the first time. They come back because it’s time.

If you paused this process before, that doesn’t mean you did it wrong.

Save this for the moment you’re ready to pick it back up.

This is what I built for the gap in your parenting plan.

Most parenting plans cover the big stuff well — custody days, holidays, how major decisions get made.

What they almost always miss is everything else. The after-school pickup. Who gets told about the school play. What happens when a schedule changes last-minute and nobody agreed in advance on how that gets communicated.

None of that is dramatic. It's just the kind of thing that gets missed, because when most plans get written, nobody's thinking about a random Tuesday in October.

The Parenting Plan Template walks through all of it, so fewer things get left to chance. If that's something you need right now, the link's in the comments. And if you're not sure a template is the right fit, or you'd rather talk through your specific situation, consultations are open too.

It wasn’t his day. He asked anyway. I almost said no.

Then I thought about the day the roles are reversed — and said yes instead.

The most common parenting plan gap isn't about custody time. It's about communication.

Most plans spell out exactly who has the kids on which days. Very few spell out who gets looped in on school emails, who's told about a teacher conference, or what happens when one parent misses an announcement entirely.

That gap is where a lot of avoidable conflict lives.

Comment or share if this is something your plan doesn't cover either.

Save this if you need the reminder that this kind of shift is real.

Your co-parent might be missing every school announcement and not even know it.

Comment “same” if you’ve dealt with this.
