UPDATE ON DOCTOR FISHER.
He's home! I've had him home about a week now. He's still weak but that's improving with time. He does very well with his PT exercises, his little walks, getting alot better and going up and down steps as long as there's a rail.
His diet is crazy peeps! I have to read every single panel. ABSOLUTELY NO DAIRY PERIOD. That's been a challenge. He had to be keto low carb bread. No sugar the best we can. The BIG one is he is HIGH PROTEIN right now. He's going threw 18 eggs a DAY! Yes I said a day. That not a typo. I scrabble 18 every morning. He had his breakfast, refrigerate the rest and he eats them as he goes for the day. The high protein helps his GI TRACK recover. Needless to say, I wish I owed 🐥 because those bad boys don't come cheap. All the fish and chicken he can stand . Veggies also. His diet is called a soft digest diet, so basically everything is cooked until it's really really soft.
He's lost 30 lbs , so those of you in the ' lord Fisher" club, he needs a fur coat cause your man is half of what he was and freezes all the time. 🤣🤣🤣
His liver, kidneys and pancreas did take a hit with all this, but labs early in the week, shows those numbers are improving.
He goes back to indy next week to see his GI doc for another IV INFUSION. ( that's the meds for the ulcerative colitis)
NOW, TO ANSWER THE LOADED QUESTION EVERYONE KEEPS ASKING,
WHEN OR IS HE COMING BACK TO WORK??
That only God knows that plan. Doc has a long recovering time to heal. This almost took him out people. I can't stress how sick he was and how far he's came, but he's NO WHERE close to being in working stability again.
If you know us, u know we ALWAYS do right by our people. Your our family by another mother! We always make things right if it's able to be done. ( rules are rules of course) my main concern right now is Doc Fish. I ask that you continue the prayers.
I've had several message me about a go fund for Doc. Get with Shawn Wright on that. He's got all my info to donate. He's on fb, runs the Santa Secrets. Him and his wonder lady are great. Those that have donated already, bless every single one of u. Self employed is not all is cracked up to be.
I think n that's about it for now. I will try to update as I can but my plate is pretty full...
