The Next Move Program Next Move is a npo organization that creates job training & jobs for young adults with disabilities. We believe that with proper accommodations-anyone can work.

The Next Move Program is a year round employment internship and externship program for young adults with disabilities. Our internship program is run at our Westover Hills neighborhood bakery, Tablespoons. Whether in our professional kitchen, point of sales counter, or cafe environment- our interns learn critical employment skills with hands on support. We have also partnered with local business an

d larger corporations in RVA to provide externship experiences allowing us to expand the number of job tasks interns can learn. Our mission is to provide much-needed, individualized, work readiness skills for young adults entering the workforce. Often providing transition services for local schools districts we are also Medicaid provider, a Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) provider and are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
