Residents traded the spotlight for paintbrushes as Nick, Ann, Kathryn, and Jean spent the afternoon creating watercolor masterpieces. Sometimes the best way to recharge is with a little color, a steady hand, and plenty of creativity.

🎤 There was plenty of talent on display at Family Night.

This month's gathering also served as Morning Pointe of Richmond's Seniors Got Talent audition night, giving performers the chance to take the stage in front of family, friends, and fellow residents. A big thank you to Jim (singing), Nelle (singing and piano), Bert (singing and guitar), and our own resident Gilbert, who kept everyone laughing with his comedy routine.

Before the performances, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by our dining team, making it a wonderful evening of great food, entertainment, and time together.

Open to all seniors age 60 and older, this beloved event is more than a performance. It's a chance to reconnect with a passion, share a talent, and do something that brings joy.

Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes, or have another special talent to share, we'd love to see you take the stage.

We're proud to celebrate Justin Leiter, our Director of Dining Operations, who was recently featured by the Chattanooga Times Free Press for his leadership and passion for enhancing the dining experience across Morning Pointe communities.

Justin works alongside our culinary teams to create fresh, flavorful menus, support and train food service directors, and ensure residents enjoy meals that are both nutritious and something they genuinely look forward to each day.

As Justin shared in the article, "Our residents deserve more than just a meal; they deserve an experience." That philosophy is reflected throughout Morning Pointe, where dining brings together great food, hospitality, conversation, comfort, and community.

🍍🍦 Nothing says summer quite like homemade Dole Whip!

Residents celebrated National Dole Whip Day with a refreshing treat as our Life Enrichment Director, Carson, whipped up a delicious batch using pineapple, ice cream, and milk. Hawaiian music set the mood, everyone enjoyed a cool dessert, and we topped off the afternoon by celebrating resident Jelemia's birthday together. It was a sweet day from start to finish! 🌺🎉❤️

Some talents are too good to keep to yourself. 👏🎉

If you're 60 or older and have spent years singing, dancing, playing an instrument, telling jokes, or entertaining a crowd, we'd love to see you take the stage at the 7th Annual Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent Lexington.

Auditions are now underway, and we're looking for talented seniors who are ready to share their gifts, have fun, and step into the spotlight.

After all, talent doesn't retire. If you've got a talent and a little courage, this might be the year to share it.

There are only a few days left to audition! In-person auditions continue at local Morning Pointe Senior Living communities through July 23, and online auditions are open through July 24.

🏛️❤️ It was a great day to learn more about the community we call home!

Our residents enjoyed a special visit to Richmond City Hall, where they met Mayor Robert Blythe, several city commissioners, and City Clerk Lisa Cassity. A special thank you to Lisa for taking time out of her afternoon to welcome us and share more about Richmond's local government. We appreciate everyone who made this memorable outing possible!
