Our residents truly enjoyed listening to Alex play his guitar, and it was wonderful to see the smiles, laughter, and joy that music brought to everyone.

Today, our residents, staff, and families enjoyed an unforgettable experience right here in our community!We had the incredible opportunity to see, interact with, and learn about a variety of exotic animals. Our residents had so much fun getting up close, petting some of the animals, and discovering fascinating facts about the amazing wildlife that visited us!

A very special thank you to Animal Unlimited for bringing your incredible wildlife experience to our community and creating such a memorable day for everyone\. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn, laugh, and make wonderful memories together!

Today, our residents had the wonderful opportunity to welcome JoAnn Peterson from Amazing Women of History to our community for a special portrayal of Abigail Adams.

JoAnn brought history to life in such an engaging and memorable way! Our residents felt as though they had stepped back in time while learning about Abigail Adams’ remarkable life, experiences, and contributions to American history. 🇺🇸📚

It was an incredible experience filled with learning, storytelling, and history—and our residents truly enjoyed every moment!

You scream, we scream, we all scream for burgers & ice cream! 🍔🍦

This week, our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at Smashed RVA We’d like to give a big thank-you to Smashed RVA for hosting us—the food was amazing, and we had such a wonderful time! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Fun fact: The owner of Smashed RVA is married to our very own Celebration Director, Bartola, at DVWE! 😍 We were so excited to support a small Richmond business while also supporting our Celebration Director’s family restaurant. It was DELICIOUS!

After lunch, we stopped by our local Wendy’s for a sweet treat to enjoy on the road. 🍦

It was such a fun and wonderful day with our residents! 💕
