Good news for our community: Regional Health Center is still open and caring for patients while their building on Ivy Ave SE is repaired.

Is your kid's neck hurting more than it should?
Tech neck isn't just an adult problem anymore. Kids are spending hours looking down at phones, tablets, and laptops — and their spines are paying the price.

In this video, Dr. Jen breaks down what tech neck actually is, why it matters for growing bodies, and what you can do about it before it becomes a bigger issue.

Here's what most people don't realize: the spine isn't just structural. It's the primary communication pathway between the brain and body. When posture is off and movement is restricted, it affects how the nervous system functions — and that can show up as headaches, focus issues, fatigue, and yes, neck pain.

The good news? This is very correctable, especially when caught early.

August is Family Fun Month at RHC.

New patients under 18 get their first visit FREE — valid all of August 2026.

If your child has been complaining about neck or shoulder tension, or you've noticed them hunching over a screen more than they should be, this is the perfect time to bring them in.

Another cough. Another fever. Another day off school.

If your family feels stuck in a loop of colds, ear infections, and stomach bugs, you're not imagining it. And you're not doing anything wrong.

Here's the question most people never ask: it's not "how do we fight the next bug." It's "why isn't the body clearing them faster?"

The nervous system runs immune response behind the scenes. When it's under stress from poor sleep, a hard fall, birth trauma, or just the demands of a fast-growing body, the signals get muddy and recovery slows down.

What the research shows:
📊 Studies have measured changes in immune markers (IgA, neutrophil activity) following spinal adjustments
📊 A nervous system stuck in chronic stress shifts the body into defense mode, leaving fewer resources to fight illness
📊 Frequently sick kids often show quieter signals first: poor sleep, low energy, crankiness, before the next cold even shows up

Your child's body isn't failing. It's asking for support in a different place than most people think to look.

We just published the full breakdown on the blog: The Sick-Kid Cycle → https://www.rhcliving.com/blog

And if this sounds familiar, come learn what to actually do about it.

A quick update from our RHC family to yours.

We had an unexpected issue at our building this week that means we'll be operating from a temporary location while our space gets fully cleaned and restored. Everyone is safe, and our whole team is already working hard behind the scenes to keep your care on track.

Here's what this means for you:

- If you have an upcoming appointment, we will be reaching out to you directly to get you rescheduled and answer any questions.
- You're also always welcome to reach out to us first at 320-321-0166 if you'd rather not wait to hear from us.
- We'll share our temporary location as soon as it's confirmed.

The power that made the body heals the body. We just remove what's in the way, and that's exactly what we're doing right now, removing what's in the way so we can keep showing up for this community the way we have for over 30 years.

Thank you for your patience and grace while we get through this. We're still here, and we're not going anywhere.

Your body is trying to heal. Give it what it needs.

If you've been living with symptoms you can't explain — the fatigue that doesn't lift, the brain fog, the joint aches — lead exposure could be part of the picture.

Especially if you live in an older Richmond home.

We've made it easy to take action:

Step 1: Order the RHC Lead Heavy Metal Detox Protocol through Fullscript.https://us.fullscript.com/plans/rhconline-rhc-lead-heavy-metal-detox-protocol

Ships to your door. No appointment needed.

Step 2: Order a kit to test your actual levels and build a personalized plan — we can help you understand what's really going on. https://rhcliving.mysamcart.com/checkout/hair-toxic-element-exposure-profile-doctors-data

Step 3: Come in. Chiropractic care supports your nervous system's ability to recover and heal — which matters when you're clearing toxins.

This is root-cause care. Not a quick fix. A real plan.
