Chiropractic is nothing to be scared about! Chiropractic has been around since 1895, when D.D. Palmer performed the first ever modern day adjustment on Harvey Lillard. D.D. Palmer's son, B.J. Palmer, later defended chiropractors in court against practicing medicine without a license, helping pave the way for distinct state regulatory boards. Now Chiropractors not only have to be graduate chiropractic school, but they also have to go through national boards and state licensing to practice. When has you down don't forget the basics! As Dr. J always says "If it's not great don't wait"-- you can always call to schedule if your spine isn't feeling fine! Our other two staples for and are Arnicare Gel and ice for targeted relief. Arnicare gel is a homeopathic topical gel that is not greasy and can be applied wherever you have pain (it works on bruises too!). The protocol for icing is 15-20 minutes on, then take the ice off for 30 minutes and repeat as necessary. Stay feeling and moving great this summer! ☀️
