SQUATTING BUT FEELING LOWER BACK PAIN AND KNEE DISCOMFORT? WHAT’S THE SECRET?

📅Date: July 21 to 24, 2024
🕛Time: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Specific time slots will be sent after you confirm online or in-person testing)

The first round of testing in July will prioritize the first 100 suitable applicants.

👉Objectives of the balance assessment:
• Early detection of balance issues
• Prevention of falls, especially in older adults
• Improvement of mobility

📌Location:
• Online test: At home or any convenient location with a white wall background
• In-person test: Bach Khoa Laboratory, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, 268 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ward 14, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City

👉Suitable participants:
The program is open to everyone, but we especially encourage:
• Adults aged 65 and above
• People with difficulty walking
• Individuals with balance issues or dizziness

👉In-person test procedure:
• 4 single-leg standing tests for each leg under different conditions:
- Standing on one leg with eyes open
- Standing on one leg with eyes closed
- Standing on one leg on an uneven surface (pillow recommended) with eyes open
- Standing on one leg on an uneven surface (pillow recommended) with eyes closed
• Two cameras will be used for recording
• Two assistants will be available to help if participants lose balance or need support
• Balance assessment results will be sent after evaluation by US doctors
• Participants will receive 50,000 VND in cash upon completion of the test

👉Online test procedure:
• 4 tests similar to the in-person procedure (For elderly or those with gait issues, family members should observe and assist to ensure safety)
• Participants will receive 50,000 VND via bank transfer after video quality is confirmed

👉Đối tượng phù hợp:
Bất kì ai quan tâm đến sức khỏe, nhưng team đặc biệt khuyến khích:
Người lớn tuổi từ 65 tuổi trở lên
Người gặp khó khăn khi đi lại
Người có vấn đề về thăng bằng hoặc chóng mặt

👉Nội dung kiểm tra trực tiếp (2-3 phút mỗi bài test) khoảng 6-12 phút
