At the Faison Center, our mission is simple - to give children and adults with autism and related challenges the best opportunity to improve their life's journey through evidence-based practice. Our mission across the lifespan is accomplished through specific programs designed to meet the needs of families at different points in their lives: the Faison School, the Faison Behavioral Health Clinic, and Faison Adult Services.

🚒 We had some very special visitors when two fire trucks from the Newport News Fire Department stopped by to give our Peninsula School students an up-close look at how they work.

Students got a chance to explore, learn, and meet some of the people who help keep our community safe. A big thank you to Newport News Fire Department for spending time with us!

Our Peninsula School students and staff came together for our annual Anthem LemonAid stand to support Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU—and raised $160!

We loved seeing our school community have fun while supporting an important cause. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stand a success!

Kindness deserves to be celebrated! 🍿🎬

Students from Peninsula School's Classroom 3 recently earned a special trip to the movies by meeting their good citizenship expectations and showing kindness to one another.

We’re proud of the way our students continue to learn and grow—not just in the classroom, but as classmates and friends. And a movie day makes for a pretty great reward!
