Fuel for Your Week: A lot of foods and drinks contain added sugars that don't add much nutritional value. Over time, those extra calories can really add up.
One easy way to check: flip the package over and look at the Nutrition Facts label. There's a separate line for "added sugars" now, so you can see exactly how much has been added beyond what occurs naturally in the food.
You don't have to cut everything out. But knowing what's in your food puts you in the driver's seat.
