We are always so excited when our mamas and babies “graduate “ at six weeks and get to put their leaf on our Tree of Life. Today we had two beautiful families put leaves up.

But our relationship doesn’t end. We support mamas for the first year postpartum and beyond with mental health checks, well person care, and parenting circle. And anything else mama might need.

At Embrace, one of the things families tell us matters most isn’t just where they give birth, it’s who is with them.

In this clip, an Embrace Dad shares what stood out most during their birth experience: knowing every person in the room, trusting each member of the team, and feeling confident that everyone was not only highly qualified, but genuinely invested in giving their family the best possible experience.

That continuity of care creates something powerful: confidence, connection, and the freedom to focus on welcoming your baby.

Birth is more than a medical event, it’s a life-changing moment, and you deserve to be surrounded by people who know you.

💛 We’d love to hear from you: What made you feel most supported during your birth experience? 💛

Recent events have brought perinatal mental health into the national conversation. While these discussions can be difficult, they remind us why it is so important to talk openly about mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

This conversation is especially meaningful to me as a midwife and birth center owner. My commitment to midwifery and su***de prevention is also shaped by personal experiences that have shown me the profound impact of mental health struggles and the importance of support, connection, and compassion.

Throughout my career, I have seen how important it is to care for the whole person during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—not only the physical changes, but also the emotional and mental challenges that can come with this transition.

This season can bring incredible joy, but it can also bring unexpected challenges. Anxiety, depression, birth trauma, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and other perinatal mental health conditions are more common than many people realize—and they are treatable. No one should have to navigate these experiences alone.

One of the most important things we can do is keep talking. By reducing stigma, recognizing when someone may be struggling, and encouraging families to seek support early, we can create a community where parents feel supported, not judged.

Please know this: asking for help is a sign of strength. There is hope, and support is available. It is an honor to walk alongside families through some of life’s most transformative moments, and I remain committed to caring for both the body and the mind.

No group chat necessary for this - we all showed up in the same color palette today. We spend our days supporting families together, so maybe it makes sense that we’re on the same wavelength, even when it comes to what we wear. Clothing coordination happens more often than not around here.

There is nothing more humbling than being invited into one of life’s most unforgettable moments.

Supporting families through labor and birth is at the heart of what we do. It’s a privilege to witness your strength, encourage you through each stage, and celebrate the moment you finally meet your baby.

In this clip, one of our past clients shares what her labor and birth experience was like and how she felt supported throughout the process. Hearing our families reflect on these moments reminds us why we love this work so deeply.

Every birth is unique, and our goal is never to fit your experience into a one-size-fits-all approach. We strive to create a calm, safe, and empowering environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported—every step of the way.

To every family who has welcomed us into their birth story, thank you. It is an incredible honor to walk alongside you during such a transformative time, and we never take your trust for granted. 💛

Thinking about giving birth at a birth center? We’d love to answer your questions and help you learn if it’s the right fit for your family.

One of the greatest joys of what we do is getting to know the incredible families who trust us with their care.

Our clients become so much more than appointments on the schedule, they become part of our birth center family. Walking alongside them through pregnancy, birth, and beyond is a privilege we never take for granted.

In this clip, one of our past clients shares her experience with our prenatal visits and what those appointments meant to her. Hearing stories like hers reminds us why we love what we do every single day.

We believe prenatal care is about more than checking boxes. It’s about building relationships, answering questions, celebrating milestones, easing worries, and making sure every family feels seen, heard, and supported.

One of the bittersweet parts of this work is when it’s time to graduate from our care. We miss seeing you so often and cherish every opportunity to watch your family continue to grow. 💛

To all of the families who have trusted us with your journey, thank you. We are so grateful to be a small part of your story, and you’ll always have a special place in our hearts. Our doors are always open. Whether you want to introduce us to your growing little one, share an update, or simply stop by to say hi, we’d love to see you. 🤍

If you’re expecting and looking for care that feels personal, we’d love to meet you.
