Bon Air Botanicals

Bon Air Botanicals Community Herbalist & Registered Yoga Teacher. Founder Bon Air Botanicals Apothecary. Spreader of Kindness & Healing. Hi, my name is Norah Hazelgrove.

Maker of Plant Medicine. 🌿

MSED, RYT500, Certified Community Herbalist I started Bon Air Botanicals as a way to share the many benefits of plant medicine with my community. My hope is that it will contribute to restoring our connection to the earth and to each other, to the ancient wisdom of plants, and to the healing practices that so many of our ancestors embraced. I earned a Bachelor of Arts i

n English from the University of Pittsburgh, then a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University. Following 14 years as an educator in the public and private school systems, I spent the last two decades studying health and wellness, first as a yoga enthusiast, then as a teacher. I learned under the wise mentorship of Angela Phillips with Angela Phillips Yoga in Virginia Beach, VA among others like master yoga practitioner and writer Doug Swenson as well as Kathleen Barratt of Barratt Breath Institute. Those years taught me so much about the ability of the body and the breath to naturally heal itself and I was fascinated by the combination of asana, pranayama, and ayurvedic medicine as a holistic path to health and wellness. Around 2020 I was drawn to the outdoors, as I think many were during the early days of Covid. I began spending countless hours out in nature, walking, gardening, I built an herb garden, purchased greenhouse and started learning about how to produce my own food medicine. Something intuitive new that my connection to nature and the earth was the way to maintain my health, both physically and mentally. In 2025 I was called to study herbalism as a way to deepen my knowledge about the many medicinal benefits of plants. At the same time I was studying astrology and the energetic impact of star and planet placement and transitions on our health and wellness. While that continues to fascinate me and I'm sure at some point I'll dive into that as well, I chose to focus my studies on herbalism. This brought me in touch with Ashley Elenbaas at Sky House Herb School. I enrolled in a year long apprenticeship on the Foundations of Herbalism and earned a certificate as a Community Herbalist. To further deepen my knowledge and expertise on herbal medicine, I'm thrilled to be enrolled in a 10 month apprenticeship with Rosemary Gladstar, the "godmother of modern herbalism" called the Science and Art of Herbalism. I am so grateful for the path that has led me here, the many lessons, both hard and soft, that have guided me and inspired me. My mission is to continue to share what I learn with my community, near and far. Thank you for supporting my work. May we be at peace
May our hearts remain open
May we awaken to the light of our true nature
May we be healed
May we be a source of healing for others
May we be one with the breath of the Divine
