We spend so much energy making sure that doesn’t show. Softening it, joking about it, adding a “but obviously my family comes first” just in case someone thinks we care too much about building something.

Men don’t do that math. They just build.

I’ve been telling myself I’d try this class for years, and it took actually being in the room, shaking through a pose I couldn’t hold, and going to child pose more times than I would like to realize how rare that feeling has become for me.

Most of my days are built around things I’m already good at. Sessions I know how to run, conversations I know how to have, a version of confidence that comes from repetition.

There’s a different kind of confidence in being new at something new in front of strangers… and staying anyway.

What’s something new you’ve been meaning to try but keep pushing aside? 💛

There’s a version of me that spoke on national television… and still felt like she hadn’t arrived.

We talk about platforms like they’re the finish line. Like once we get the stage, the title, the appearance, something inside us finally settles. But the outside can be everything we dreamed of while the inside is still catching up to it.

Today marks the anniversary of that morning - my appearance on the Today Show. Instead of thinking about the segment, I’m thinking about how long it actually took me to feel as steady as I looked.

If you’ve ever gotten the big moment and felt strangely far away from it… you’re not the only one.

When people meet me, they meet the therapist, the speaker, the podcast, the multiple businesses owner, the “she’s got it together” version…

What they don’t see is the long road it took to get here. The money spent. The working for free. The tears and the frustration along the way.

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping others through this process. It’s why I’m passionate about teaching people to charge what they’re worth. And it’s why I’m passionate about helping others reach their own goals…

Because even with every twist and turn along the way, it IS possible to get there.

I’m looking forward to everything still on the horizon.

Highly functioning women are usually the ones people call first. Somewhere along the way we became the reliable ones, the ones who don’t fall apart, the ones who have room for everyone else’s hardest moments even in the middle of our own full week.

That’s not a burden we carry, it’s a skill we built, and it’s one of the reasons people trust us the way they do.

And the woman who can hold space for everyone else has exactly what it takes to hold space for herself too, whenever she’s ready to turn some of that toward her. That’s the whole idea behind Mom Coaching - time just for you.

Send this to the woman who’s everyone’s person and deserves one of her own 💛

We spend so much energy managing the gap between how we look and how we feel, like the two have to match or one of them isn’t real.

They don’t have to match. We can be exhausted and excellent in the same breath, because that’s what most of our days actually require.

Nobody claps for the version of us that’s barely holding on while still making the school pickup, running the meeting, answering the text. But know that that version deserves the credit too.

Send this to the woman who’s still showing up for everyone else while carrying something heavy 💛

Nobody warns you that ambition can feel like love. The late nights, the risk, the way a good problem can light you up more than a vacation does.

We spend so much energy making sure that doesn’t show. Softening it, joking about it, adding a “but obviously my family comes first” just in case someone thinks we care too much about building something.

Men don’t do that math. They just build.

This is exactly why we at the Latinx Practice Collective | Therapist Coaching & Community created Connect Therapy Directory, so Latino therapy seekers have a real starting point to find a provider who truly understands them, not just their language, but the cultural nuance underneath it.

If today’s the day you start that search, the directory is a good place to begin. Share this with someone who needs to hear why this month matters. 💛
