There is a shocking rise in accidents from these "micromobility" devices. This is obvious to any of us in ER or surgery settings, but has also been published recently in JAMA.

We have to do something to help regulate who, when, and where these vehicles can be used. Losing lives due to careless lack of regulation is a tragedy.

This is not about limiting freedom. It's about keeping us all safe and acknowledging what these vehicles really are.

You can't rewrite the history we lived.

This is not political. It's deeply personal. The trauma we personally and professionally faced was one we will carry forever, but then to be faced with denials of it- it is too much to not speak up.

This one is for all the lives I wish I could have saved during that dark time. I will forever remember holding your hand, FaceTiming your family members, and hoping for a cure.

The way we responded on a government level was far from perfect, but don't forget how little information we had and how quickly the pandemic was progressing. We did the best with the information we had. Retrospect always had the 20/20 lens we lack in the moment. But having lived and worked in NYC in that time- I am enormously grateful for our public health agencies.

Congrats to Danielle Eytan, MD on an incredible conference bringing together facial nerve experts across specialties. I always love sharing our experience with brain tumors and .

Had a bittersweet last day with my two students. I love mentoring the next generation.

Combining socialization with a stimulating sport like tennis is an incredible hack. Grateful to have the best community and loved our evening Scarsdale Golf Club

But the best moments were the quiet mornings and nights snuggling with my babies and sunset dinner with my husband. Life doesn't get sweeter than this.

Had so much fun this month teaching my student. It reminds me of how motivated I was 20 years ago, and why I keep making content.
