Understaphed for the win again!

On one of our summer trips, I didn't have my regular go to for mastitis and/or clogged milk ducts (Lymphatic Release Oil, and Hot Pepper Salve) but I had the Understaphed Oil Roller available. So I used that, and it worked beautifully! So a couple days ago when the babe and I woke up from nap time and I had a sore clog, I decided to use it again. To no surprise of mine, it worked beautifully again! It is always good to have the many different uses tucked away for each product!

So, we woke up Monday morning to find these 2 unfortunate spots on my little guy. I hadn't noticed them the night before, but I'm guessing they were there, just not as painfully obvious. Are they likely bug bites? Yes. But as you can see even through the photos, they are both clearly angry, and got that way fast. They were very red, swollen, and pretty warm to the touch. Now I would normally use the Creepy Crawly bug bite salve on these, but because they were looking like they were possibly headed towards cellulitis, I decide to go a little bit more targeted and use the Understaphed Infection Oil Roller! Now the salve has worked for these in the past but I suspected the infection roller would work faster, and it did! I applied the oil and massaged it in probably 4x daily, usually around diaper changes or changing clothes, so i already had him expecting to lay still. As you can see the oil worked so well! Diversity in products is always a win in my book!

So, this is an interesting post for me.
Many of my products are blended for specific issues that I don't have personally. So, while i absolutely will test and use any and everything I make; I also can't speak to strength or effectiveness on issues I don't have, from a personal stand point. Makes sense, right?

Well this Congestion and Migraine Eye Pack is one that we use in our house quite a lot! But personally I have NEVER used one on myself.
I don't get migraines, I'm rarely sick, and if I am, I am usually consumed (or trapped 😂) with the baby and don't even think to grab one.

Well last night I could not stop coughing. I have been fighting off a sore throat, and while I have been winning, I have gotten this random, periodic, dry, unproductive cough. Last night I just could not STOP coughing. It was annoying and I was trying not to wake the baby, and get some sleep.
Well I had actually just thrown some of the filling for a pack into a fabric Tea bag to take on our most recent trip, for my kiddos, and it was still in a small medicine bag in my bedroom that I had not yet unpacked (normally we keep them in the freezer).

So I thought...what the heck, right? If my kid is coughing or congested I give them this. If my hunny is stuffy, migraine, allergies, I give him this. It helps every time. I just never think ablut it for myself (ridiculous).

So I popped up and grabbed one of those little tea bags from our trip, and laid it on the pillow right under my nose, and started breathing in this scrumptious blend of aromatic herbs.

Yaaaaall. The coughing STOPPED. I was able to sleep well, and the only thing waking me up was my baby, and at one point my drool I think 😂😂😂

We will always have this blend available in our house!

*I have updated labels since this picture, but don't have any fresh ones of this product yet*

I have never grown cucumbers, but the boy insisted!
I remember Marketmore 76 from my Heirloom seed company days, and it was the most popular for sure, so that's what we got!

The kids have been asking for lemonade, and with our fresh harvest it seemed like the best time!

Elderflower, Bee Balm, and Peppermint, infused on Medium heat with water, then added Lemon juice and honey 🍋 🍯 to make a light, refreshing drink for this sunny day 🌞

Next time I think maybe I will add a wee bit of Hibiscus (give us a nice pink color) and a hint of Lemon Balm 🤌🏻

We have SO many pretty blooms and growths going on over here!
This is a fraction of what is here (10 Pic max per post) but most of our stuff is so happy!
Cucumber amd tomato plants already going wild, Bee Balm is SO happy! (Peep the bumble bee enjoying it 😉) Basil THINKS it's gonna get to flower 😂
Echinacea, marigolds, geranium. I have never actually seen Lambs Ear bloom, so this is very cool!
And my Peony bulbs have come up! 🤩

I know ticks are on everyone's mind this summer, and the more it is talked about the more anxious folks get, ESPECIALLY when you've got little ones always playing outside.
Last night after shower time Rory came in to get help getting a tick off (she did not know what it was). The head was entirely embedded and in a sensitive spot.
We got tweezers and pulled it out , and then applied the Creepy Crawley Bug Bite Salve.

Picture with the blue towel was immediately after removing (painful, poor girl was having a hard time) and we stuck a bandaid on. Just checked it (about 18 hours later) and there's just a wee little mark. No swelling, no spreading, sensitivity dropped right after we put salve on it.

This is a drawing salve, so we know it's drawing out whatever nonsense is injected, regurgitated, or otherwise introduced into our bodies!
