It's raining, so the boys are stuck inside, and they're getting louder by the minute.

The dogs won't stop barking at absolutely nothing.

My period could start any hour now. And I can feel every single bit of that chaos landing directly in my body, like there's no wall between me and the noise of the house.

If you know this morning — where nothing has technically gone wrong, but you feel like you're about to come out of your skin — please hear me.

You're not broken.
You're not "too much."

You are an open channel standing in a house full of noise with nowhere for it to go, and that is exhausting in a way most people will never understand.

You don't have to sit in the chaos alone.

This is exactly the work we go after in Root & Rewild.

Not another way to grit your teeth through the chaos.

Energetic work — learning what's actually yours to carry and what's just noise passing through you, so a loud house doesn't have to mean a wrecked nervous system and a lost day.

You learn to move through mornings like this instead of being flattened by them.

New round starts September 21st. 5 spots. Link in bio to book your spot before they're gone.

That download hit me mid-session and I haven't stopped sitting with it since.

So much of what people carry isn't actually theirs to begin with — it's inherited, absorbed, picked up because somebody had to hold it and it landed on you.

Doesn't matter if it's a family pattern you've been dragging since childhood or a horse that's been holding tension for a rider who doesn't even realize she's handing it over.

The weight is real.

It's just not yours.

Root & Rewild is a month built entirely around finding what you're holding that was never actually yours, and putting it down for good.

Wild Woman or Horse & Rider — same root work, same four weeks, same weekly 1:1 sessions either way.

5 spots this round.

Surrender.

Post-ride cool down walks with Dee Dee are basically therapy for both of us.

She grazes, I breathe, and somehow we're both a little more regulated by the time we're back at the barn.

Little moments like this are actually the whole point of Horse & Rider inside Root & Rewild.

A regular 1:1 session gives you a snapshot — one read, one release, one shift in that hour.

The intensive takes that same connection and gives it four weeks to actually build on itself.

Same horse
Same rider
Same nervous system
Week over week instead of starting from scratch every time.

If you've ever left a session feeling better for a few days and then right back where you started, that's the gap this closes.

5 spots this round.

Sessions start Sept 14th!

I used to think being a good healer meant feeling everything my clients felt.

If they were spiraling, I spiraled a little too.

If an animal was scared, I carried that fear home with me.

I thought that was empathy. I thought that was the job.

It wasn't.

It was me with no boundary between their nervous system and mine.

I don't do that anymore.

Someone can be in the middle of their worst moment and I can sit right next to it without taking it into my own body.

That's not detachment — it's the difference between absorbing someone's pain and actually being able to hold steady enough to help them move through it.

You can't regulate someone else's nervous system while you're dysregulated by theirs.

I had to learn that the hard way, more than once.

If you're the person everyone dumps their emotions on and you go home wrecked every time — that's not sensitivity, that's an open door somebody needs to help you close.

That's exactly the pattern we go after in Root & Rewild — learning to hold steady instead of absorbing what isn't yours.

One month, weekly 1:1 work, root-cause focus.

Link in bio if you're ready to close that door for good.

It's 2am and you're still replaying it.

For you, that might be the same relationship pattern, the same financial ceiling, the same body that won't calm down no matter what you've tried.

For you, it might be watching your horse shut down or react in a way you can't reach, and no trainer or vet has gotten anywhere near the root of it.

Either way, the question is the same: who's actually going to get to the bottom of this?

Root & Rewild is one month built around finding that root and working it all the way through.

Wild Woman — this is where the looping thoughts start to quiet, where you stop white-knuckling your way through triggers and start actually navigating them. Calmer nervous system. Clearer head. Room to want things again instead of just surviving the day.

Horse & Rider — this is where the behavior that's had you worried finally gets read correctly, and where the disconnect between you and your horse starts closing. Not managing symptoms. Understanding what was actually being communicated the whole time.

Same foundation, four weeks, weekly 1:1 work — you just pick where it gets applied.

This was so beautifully said!
🤣

I will just call it as I see it!

I have seen so many posts from horse owners, all saying the same thing.

"I bought this horse and I don't understand why it is giving me a hard time"

*insert different wording but all saying the same damn thing.

Well here is the deal....

Horses need time to adjust and acclimate just like we do...

So you can't just expect to bring home a new horse and it do EVERYTHING you want it to do.

How about giving it some time, building a connection, and then build from there!

I never imagined this would be my life.

Sitting at the edge of a pond, kids paddle boarding and fishing a few feet away, while I hold client sessions right here.
No desk.
No four walls.
No permission needed.

I used to believe work meant sitting inside, tied to a desk, trading my days for someone else's schedule.

Then I stepped fully into this healing work — into my power, into my knowing — and realized none of that was ever true.

I get to build a life, not just a job.

I get to be present for my kids and still show up fully for my clients.

I get to enjoy my days instead of surviving them.

If you're a woman reading this feeling stuck, feeling like this is just how life has to be — it's not.

You are meant for more than the life you've settled into.

The version of you that's still spinning in circles, still proving herself, still waiting for permission — she doesn't have to stay there.

When people ask why I lift...

It's not only because I lift spirits...

it's not for the muscles...

It's so I never have to walk back to the barn twice.

Efficient or unhinged? Yes.

Dee Dee and I rode in the front pasture for the first time today.

We were both anxious. Me nervous about pushing us both, her nervous about everything her body was bracing for.

So we breathed.

We walked it out.

And slowly, we both settled.

Then I got up the nerve to canter her for the first time.

Another fear, faced.

But the moment that got me — on the way back to the barn, she stopped to eat grass.

Something she has never been settled enough to do on the leadline.

Not once.

That's not a small thing.

That's a nervous system finally trusting the moment it's in.

And it didn't happen because I forced it.

It happened because we both did the work to get there — the breathing, the grounding, the slow rebuilding of trust between two bodies learning to move as one.

This is exactly what I bring into the Heart to Horse Connections Clinic — and it's also the heart of what we do together 1:1 if you and your horse want this kind of reset.

If you know a barn or group of riders who'd want to host a clinic, send me a message.

And if it's just you and your horse ready for this work, DM me — we'll figure out what that looks like.
