Today, the South feels a little less sparkly. ✨

Dolly reminded generations of women that taking care of yourself, feeling beautiful, and adding a little glamour to life was never something to apologize for.

She embraced femininity. She loved the pretty things. She took pride in how she presented herself — and, most importantly, she encouraged women to be unapologetically themselves.

At Ovation, we believe self-care can be part of that too. Sometimes it’s slowing down. Sometimes it’s doing something that makes you feel beautiful. Sometimes it’s simply choosing yourself.

Today, we’re remembering a Southern icon who showed us you can have a big heart, big dreams, and, of course, a little extra sparkle. ✨
