We are serving from Dayton, TN to Lafayette and Chatsworth, GA! Northern Lights Behavioral Consulting is owned and operated by Amy Jarrell. Amy Jarrell is a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) living in Chattanooga, TN. She has been a BCBA since 2021, before which she was an elementary school teacher and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). An autistic individual herself, she is committed

to trauma-informed practices, as well as respecting the assent and dissent of the people she works with (staff, children, and their families). Amy chose the name "Northern Lights" for her practice, because of their intense beauty and their diversity. She believes that they are natural representation of Autism itself.

Hi all! Back to talk about Autistic Pride Chattanooga and Autistic Pride Day!

If you're a neurodivergent artist, consider submitting your work for the silent auction. You can just exhibit OR sell and 100% of what your work sells for goes back to you.

Deadline is next week on June 5th, so don't miss it! I submitted some things, too (pics in the comments!).

What a win!! Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all LEAs in Tennessee will be required to permit private funders who are contracted with caregivers to provide ABA services within the school setting when those services are specified in the student’s IEP.

You might know that we're sponsoring Bubble Mania for Autistic Pride Day on June 20th, the first Autistic Pride Day in the Southeast!

We wanted to share some direct links and information with you that can help this great nonprofit!

Autistic Pride Chattanooga is a new nonprofit, but they are making great strides, sharing resources, creating community, and bringing safe foods to their community fridge (and helping those affected by ARFID).

Autistic Pride Day is going to be awesome, is family friendly, and located at the Downtown Library! Infodump sessions, stimming contests, an actually silent auction, and so much more will take place.

Some things you can do to support:
