NOW HIRING – ADMINISTRATIVE / PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Rio Vista CARE, a non-profit seeking a dependable, organized, and highly responsible Administrative / Program Assistant to join our team.
This position requires someone with strong administrative skills who can be given a project or assignment, take ownership of it, and follow it through to completion with accuracy, professionalism, and minimal supervision.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
• Strong administrative, organizational, and data-entry skills
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, enter data, and organize information accurately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including preparing professional letters, documents, forms, and correspondence
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook Email and Calendar, including managing emails, appointments, meetings, and scheduling
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft professional letters, emails, and other correspondence
• Ability to learn and work within a County Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Entering client information, discharge information, service-related data, and other required documentation
• Handling, collecting, and entering confidential and protected health information (PHI)
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
• Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and behavioral health services
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records
• Ability to independently carry out assigned projects from beginning to completion
• Assisting the Executive Director with administrative duties, projects, reports, correspondence, scheduling, and day-to-day organizational needs
Please note: This is NOT a counseling position. This position provides administrative support related to mental health clients and programs and serves as an Administrative/Program Assistant to the Executive Director.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, trustworthy, computer proficient, able to work independently, and comfortable handling highly confidential information.
