Official Notice of closure:
After 33 years of service to Tippah and the surrounding area, I have passed the torch !!
Even now it doesn’t seem real. To care for you, your children and now your grandchildren has been my greatest joy and accomplishment. Opening in 1993, when Bobby Martin said “now what is a nurse practitioner?” I feel like the dinosaur now. We built a new building in 2013 and have strived to continue to be what the community needed. Thank you is inadequate to all who helped along the way as we paved the way for many since. Dr Horton Taylor was my biggest fan and supporter. The memories pour out my eyes but I am consoled knowing the tradition of family care will be continued as Nursemed Plus will be open Monday 5-4-2026 under the direction of Lori Duke. I believe she will continue to provide the best care for all my patients. Please support her. Same building. Same staff. Same level of care. I am so blessed and I hope some of the blessings overflowed on you all!! On to a new chapter, but forever grateful for the past one.
Nursemed 2 in Baldwyn will continue on. Please call them if we can help in that area and all patient records are still accessible at the Ripley office
