We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members. Dr. Syed Zaidi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine. We are a full-service practice who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve

their health. We specialize in Internal Medicine for adults as well as adolescents. Our patients come to us for same day visits, wellness check-ups, and for maintenance of chronic or diverse medical conditions. We provide comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical state possible. Falls in Elderly .

Falls in 85 yr and above resulting in deaths or morbidity has tripled in USA since 2000 .

Weakness , decreased muscle mass , poor nutrition go strokes etc are all risk factors .

Some state mortality at more then 50 % in one year of falls result in major bone fracture .

Some FRM or fall risk medications were identified as risk factors also .
They are multiple meds esp Benzodiazepines ( Xanax , Ativan ) GABA medications ( gabapentin ) and antidepressants ( Zoloft celexa etc ) to name a few know culprits .

You and your Medical provider should evaluate your being on these meds .
