On Alzheimer's Day, we stand with those affected by Alzheimer's disease and the families and caregivers who walk this journey with strength and love. Through awareness, education, and compassion, we can help build a more supportive community for everyone.

Our final day celebrating Assisted Living Week ended with a carnival themed party! Residents gathered for carnival games, tasty treats, and good company! Activity Director, Gina, debuted a new game that had everyone laughing- clown pants ball toss! It was a wonderful ending to a very special week!

Today's theme, "Talent and Hobby Spotlight," brought out so many smiles! Residents and staff showcased the hobbies they love and special talents they have, enjoyed lively karaoke and sing‑alongs, and ended the afternoon with a special hobby‑edition Bingo! A joyful day of sharing, connecting, and celebrating what makes us all unique.

Today's theme was all about "Shining From Within!" Some highlights from today's activities include: music yoga, sharing their own reasons why they shine, sharing stories and working together to make some delicious chocolate muffins, and a wonderful performance by Casey Carney, because we all know how important music is for the soul! Staff participated in pajama day, and we held random drawings for self-care gift baskets, to show our appreciation for all their hard work and the many ways that they shine in our community!

Today’s "Storybook Shine" theme invited residents to become authors of their own journeys! We sat down with residents and interviewed them about their lives. We took their own words, and created a book of their life stories, to be cherished keepsakes of their memories and milestones. For some added fun today, we put up a “Guess the Baby” game, featuring staff and volunteers.

Kicking off Assisted Living Week with Decades Day! Residents spent the day traveling through time as they enjoyed music from different decades, enjoyed a presentation about the different fashion styles of the decades, shared memories during group discussions, and wrapped it all up with a lively round of Decades Bingo! Staff wore their best 80s outfits for the occasion!

Today, in honor of National Grandparents Day, our residents enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar with Activity Director, Gina while listening to some wonderful music from visitors from Grace Lutheran church.
