After over 13 years seeing patients at Weber Eye Care, Dr. Ruth Weber has decided to make the transition to affiliate with Shopko Optical, where she will be seeing patients for comprehensive eye care, starting on Monday, July 27, 2026, primarily at the 1212 S. Koeller Street location in Oshkosh, WI. Through this affiliation, Weber Eye Care in Ripon is now closed as of July 23, 2026.
All patient records have been transferred for your convenience to this Shopko Optical location. Spectacle purchase warranties from Weber Eye Care will be honored by Shopko Optical.
Patients who have appointments already scheduled with Dr. Weber in Ripon will have their appointments transferred onto her schedule at Shopko Optical at 1212 S. Koeller Street in Oshkosh. Patients will be contacted by phone prior to their upcoming appointments to confirm or adjust appointment times and insurance coverage. To confirm or change appointments or obtain a records release themselves, patients can call Shopko directly at 920-426-5730 or visit shopko.com, if they would prefer. The phone number for Weber Eye Care in Ripon is now forwarded to the Shopko Optical on Koeller Street in Oshkosh. Most all major insurance plans will continue to be accepted at Shopko. Letters and/or email notifications will be sent shortly to provide these details also. Patients who have bills due to Weber Eye Care will receive printed statements in the mail and should still mail payments to the Ripon address over the next 90 days.
This transition provides an opportunity for Dr. Weber to continue serving the patients she has cared for in the area communities for over the past 35 years with a shared commitment with Shopko to provide exceptional patient care. Additionally, this affiliation brings an enhanced selection of frames and Saturday hours to accommodate patients' schedules.
