was incredibly busy, but one of the highlights was having the opportunity to return as an alumni speaker at the school where I earned both my Basic Esthetician and Master Esthetician licenses. ✨ shout out to Jatia Amour | Licensed Master Esthetician & Pro MUA for the opportunity!

It was such an honor to come back and share my journey, experiences, and lessons learned with future estheticians at one of the top esthetics schools in Virginia. Being able to stand where I once sat and encourage others to chase their goals was truly a full-circle moment.

As many of you know, I’m now continuing my journey toward becoming a Registered Nurse while still growing Olive Glow Esthetics and serving the clients I love. 💛

Thank you for following my journey, supporting my dreams, and trusting me with your skincare and waxing needs through every season of growth. I will continue taking clients at our Greenbelt location, but appointment availability will be very limited as I balance school, business, and motherhood.

As I prepare to go full-time in my business at the beginning of next year, so much of my time is being spent behind the scenes creating an even better experience for you all.

From learning new techniques and investing in advanced education, to improving our services, training future estheticians, and building systems that make your appointments smoother—every step is being done with intention.

My goal has never been to just offer a service. I want to create an experience, a community, and results that leave you feeling confident every time you walk through our doors.

Important Olive Glow Esthetics Updates 💚

Hi Glow Babes, 💚

Okay… I’ve officially heard the feedback from over 100 of you — literally OVER 100 of you — and after thinking through everything carefully, I wanted to give you all some important updates regarding Olive Glow Esthetics and our future plans.

For now — and I mean FOR NOW — we will be staying in the Greenbelt area while I continue nursing school. As many of you know, I do not graduate until 2028, so a lot can still change between now and then as I continue planning for our future med spa expansion.

While we may not remain in the exact same suite/location long-term, we will still remain in the area because you guys made it very clear how important accessibility and consistency are to you all. 💚

We are STILL planning to expand into Silver Spring, MD, but that transition will now happen around May 2027 instead. This means Olive Glow will eventually operate with TWO locations, and I’m super excited about what’s to come.

As we continue growing, we will also be bringing on new wax specialists to the Olive Glow team. Every waxer will be personally trained by me to ensure the Olive Glow experience, quality, and standards remain the same.

I also want to give everyone a heads up that beginning January 2027, due to nursing school and business expansion, my personal availability will shift from 5 days a week to about 3 days a week. Because of this, I highly encourage pre-booking appointments moving forward.

In addition, monthly calendar releases will now open on the 20th of the month before. This will help us keep scheduling more organized and accurate as we continue growing.

A few more quick updates:
• We are currently looking for models THIS Friday for our Herbal Peel services.
• Our booking system will officially be changing beginning June 1st.
• You will receive an email invitation from the new booking platform soon, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

This is such an exciting transition period for Olive Glow as we slowly evolve from a traditional esthetics business into more of a medical aesthetics practice. Thank you all so much for continuing to support me through every phase of growth, education, and elevation as a minority-owned business.

✨ It’s officially CLINICAL WEEK for our student esthetician 💚✨

As we get closer to her graduation on June 20th and her officially becoming a licensed esthetician, these next few weeks will be focused on taking models, perfecting techniques, and gaining hands-on experience within the esthetics field. 🧖🏽‍♀️✨

I am SO proud of Nunu. She has been absolutely amazing throughout her training journey with me as her preceptor, and it has been such a blessing watching her grow more confident and skilled every single week. 🥹💚

I truly cannot wait to see what she accomplishes in the future because I know this is only the beginning for her!

She currently has availability for services, so make sure you guys book online and come support her during clinical season. ✨ We can’t wait to see you all soon!
