This awesome patient has now had both hips replaced and is back to living life on his terms. At his visit he showed up wearing a shirt that read:
“After a couple of joints, I feel better than ever… Double Hippie Club.”

Let’s just say his sense of humor is as strong as his new hips. 😄 (For the record — I don’t condone drugs — but I absolutely support good jokes and even better outcomes.)

In all seriousness, seeing patients regain mobility, confidence, and joy after hip replacement is why I love what I do. Surgery is about more than implants and X-rays — it’s about getting people back to themselves.
