Wherever you are in your grief journey today, give yourself grace. There is no timeline, no finish line, and no right or wrong way to miss someone you love.

When you’re in the deepest grief, it can feel like you’re drowning while the rest of the world keeps moving.

Some days, survival is the victory.

Not healing.
Not moving on.
Not being strong.

Just breathing.
Just getting out of bed.
Just making it through one more hour.

Grief has a way of convincing you that this pain will last forever. But even in the darkest night, morning still comes. The love you carry for them will never leave, but one day the weight of the pain won’t crush you quite the same way it does today.

If all you can do today is take the next step, then take the next step.

That’s enough.

You are still here.
And that matters.

💜 For anyone walking through loss right now, be gentle with yourself. Some days are about healing. Some days are simply about holding on. Both count.

06/17/2026

Tonight, if you’re grieving, be careful not to let your pain convince you to hurt yourself even more.

Grief already takes so much from us. Don’t let it take your peace, your progress, your sobriety, your health, or your hope. The things we reach for to numb the pain often create new wounds that we have to carry tomorrow.

Missing them is normal.
Crying is normal.
Feeling lost is normal.

Self-destruction is not healing.

Be gentle with yourself tonight. Drink the water. Take the walk. Say the prayer. Call the friend. Go to bed early if you need to. Surviving grief one day at a time is not weakness—it’s courage.

Some nights, the strongest thing we can do is choose not to make our pain any heavier than it already is.

❤️ One day. One hour. One moment at a time. ❤️

06/16/2026

Some mornings the weight of grief feels a little lighter, and some mornings it feels just as heavy as the day it all began. Wherever you find yourself today, give yourself grace. Healing isn’t a straight path, and there is no timeline for missing someone you love.

The world kept moving.
People went back to their routines.
Life carried on.

But part of me is still standing in the moment everything changed.

Grief is a strange thing. You can smile, have conversations, get through a day, and still feel like you’re carrying a weight so heavy it steals the air from your lungs.

There are moments I still reach for someone who isn’t here.
Moments I still can’t believe this is real.
Moments when the ache is so deep there aren’t words for it.

Two months later, the silence is still loud.
The absence is still overwhelming.
And the love is still as strong as ever.

Some losses don’t get smaller.
You just learn how to carry them while your heart breaks a little differently each day. 💔

Grief is strange.

Some days the weight of it is obvious. Other days it hides beneath the surface until a song, a memory, a scent, or a simple thought brings it all rushing back.

People often see us moving forward and assume we’re doing better. What they don’t see are the moments when we’re carrying an ache that never fully leaves. We learn to live around the pain, but we never stop loving the person we’ve lost.

If you’re missing someone today, know that your grief is not a sign that you’re stuck. It’s a sign that your love still exists.

And love doesn’t end when a life does. ❤️

Trying to heal while carrying grief.
Trying to forgive what can’t be changed.
Trying to remember without falling apart.
Trying to keep loving when your heart feels broken.
Trying to accept a life you never wanted.

Some days it feels like you’re carrying a hundred emotions at once, and no one sees the weight of it. The truth is, grief isn’t just missing someone. It’s learning how to live in a world that keeps moving while part of you stands still.

If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or simply doing your best to make it through today, give yourself grace. You’re carrying more than most people know.

❤️ One heart can only hold so much. Be gentle with yours. ❤️

Yesterday was a hard reminder that grief is rarely shared equally.

One of the most painful parts of loss is realizing that the world doesn’t stop for everyone the way it stopped for you. People return to their routines. They laugh. They make plans. They move forward. And sometimes it can feel like they’ve forgotten someone you think about every single day.

The truth is, not everyone grieves the same way. Not everyone carries loss as openly, as deeply, or as visibly. But knowing that doesn’t always make it hurt less.

Sometimes the frustration isn’t just about missing the person you lost. It’s about feeling alone in remembering them. It’s about wondering why others don’t seem to carry the same weight, ask the same questions, or speak their name as often as you do.

Grief has a way of making us feel like we’re standing still while everyone else keeps walking.

If that’s where you are today, know that you’re not alone in feeling it. Loving someone deeply often means grieving them deeply. And that love doesn’t disappear simply because time has passed.

Be gentle with your heart today. ❤️

One of the hardest parts of grief is facing the belongings left behind.

The clothes, the notes, the photos, the little things that once seemed ordinary but now feel impossible to touch.

Many of us delay going through things—not because we don’t care, but because every item tells a story, and every story reminds us of the person we miss.

There is no timeline for this. No deadline. No right or wrong way.

If you’re struggling to sort through their things, you’re not alone. Sometimes surviving the loss is enough for today.

Be gentle with yourself. The memories aren’t in the belongings. They’re already a part of you. ❤️
