The race was on today with staff and wheelchairs!! 🦽
Today was filled with sunshine, laughter, beach music, wheelchair races, prizes, ice cream, and plenty of smiles! From the friendly competition to the fun in the sun, our residents thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this beautiful day.

A special highlight was celebrating our incredible nurse aides, who each received sunglasses as a small token of appreciation for the huge impact they make every day. Your dedication, hard work, compassion, and commitment to providing exceptional care do not go unnoticed.

Thank you for bringing joy, comfort, and love to our residents each and every day. You are the heart of our community, and we are so grateful for all that you do!

🚨 THROWBACK THURSDAY ALERT! 🚨

Today at Cardinal Senior Living, we celebrated our UNBELIEVABLE Nurse Aides the only way we know how… with coffee, donuts, laughter, and a little controlled chaos! ☕🍩😂

A huge thank you to Jacob from Gentiva Hospice for bringing the amazing coffee bar and helping lead our elopement drill where staff won prizes. We appreciate your partnership and support more than you know!

Our Nurse Aides show up every day with compassion, dedication, patience, and hearts for service. They are the true superheroes of assisted living. ❤️

The highlight of the day? Watching staff dressed for Throwback Thursday while our residents sat back, laughed uncontrollably, and enjoyed every second of the entertainment! Let’s just say there were some outfits that should have stayed in the past. 🤣📼🕺

A special shout-out to our two wonderful residents who joined in the fun. Their smiles, laughter, and participation made the day even more memorable.

Today we celebrated National Iced Tea Day with a refreshing twist — our New Resident Social filled with sweet tea, warm welcomes, yummy goodies, and even sweeter memories.

As we gathered together, each resident introduced themselves and shared a little piece of their story. The room lit up with childhood hobbies, favorite pastimes, and the simple joys that shaped who we are today — from climbing trees and riding bikes to sewing, painting, and collecting treasures.

There’s something special about reminiscing together. It reminds us that while our paths are all unique, the joy of remembering where we came from brings us closer as a community.

Here’s to new friendships, shared stories, and many more afternoons filled with laughter and iced tea.
