Tie Dye Day! A Hermitage Roanoke tradition!

Each year, residents create their own colorful tie-dye t-shirts and then choose a special day to wear them. From bold swirls to vibrant patterns, every shirt is unique, just like the people who made them! It was wonderful to see so much color, creativity, and community spirit brightening the community!

Congratulations to the Hermitage Hero of June, Rizzy!

Rizzy joined the Hermitage family in December 2025 as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She has taken the time to get to know each resident; their personalities, preferences, likes, and dislikes. She is always willing to jump in and help wherever is needed.

Rizzy is incredibly helpful to both residents and families, and she brings a positive attitude everywhere she goes! Outside of work, she is a proud sports mom to her kids. Watch out when her babies are playing!

We were delighted to host 'Navigating the Third Stage' at the beautiful Roanoke Country Club where we engaged in meaningful discussions about important topics surrounding planning, decision-making, and peace of mind in the third stage of life.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity to share insights on next steps for the future. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to such thoughtful discussions.

💜💙💚 Living vibrantly is one of the many ways a resident can express themselves at Hermitage Roanoke. Whether it is a pop of pink, a streak of purple, or a splash of blue, residents prove that fun never goes out of style.

Residents had a blast experimenting with temporary hair color, adding a little extra silliness and flair to the day. From bold colors to lots of laughter, we embraced the opportunity to be creative, playful, and just a little wild!

Chair Zumba was a fun and energizing workout! Thank you to Christine for leading us through a great session filled with movement, music, and smiles. We had a wonderful time staying active and having fun together!
