A couple months ago I received a call about a child with cerebral palsy. I was asked if I had any experience with that condition. I said no but I was willing to do my homework. I don’t believe we receive calls like this by accident. I don’t believe in accidents at all.

I have been working with this kid once a week and now twice weekly ever since.

Situations like these send me home deeply fulfilled. Cases like these cause me to really ponder who’s here for who?!
Am I here for him or is he here to guide me?
I adore this kid. He makes me feel like a little Angie again. Always smiling, playing, and giggling.

I’m incredibly grateful to be right where I am doing exactly what I do.

It took a long time to allow myself to receive life’s blessings. (Pictured below, SWEET client gifts this week🥰) I’m so grateful to meet and treat every single soul that shows up in my treatment room. When I pay attention it’s easy to see that I receive just as much as I give, probably more. 💝

I’m not just talking about physical things here.
It’s wildly ironic the messages I receive from listening to those who land on my table.

Yesterday a newbie and I were chatting about gratitude, fulfillment, and how that relates to the work that we do.
Our work is never about us. It’s always about being of service. We can never fail at anything as long as we recognize and remember, we are here to serve others, to help. By anchoring our work there, we are also taking care of ourselves. 🙏💛✨

Sometimes or a lot of the time the restoration we need gets pushed aside. Somehow our mind thinks it’s not productive enough to allow our bodies to recover and reawaken.

One of the coolest things I recognize about regular bodywork for myself is the unraveling that begins on the car ride over. It’s a phenomenon I do my best to try and explain…it’s pretty miraculous.
I know deep down where I am headed and my body begins to open up for that process to begin.

Regular Therapeutic Sessions and a treatment plan offer us exactly what we need to keep going. We all want to keep going for as long as we are able. There are tools and practices designed to keep us moving freely…without the weight we sometimes insist on carrying.

It's pretty darn invigorating to have experienced a taste of spring over the weekend. Like many, I felt the effects of a prolonged winter. 🥱

We thrive when we can immerse ourselves in the outdoors, soak up the sunshine, and connect with Mama Nature. 🌿
These bodies are designed for movement and it's a gift to be able to walk, hike, bend over to touch and explore the ground we walk along. 🥾

The first signs of spring came in calling this week. The geese were hollering and honking, I could hear them saying, here we are!! Little miss red wing came singing at my window this morning. 🪿

Over the past decade plus I have been surrounded by practitioners of Chinese Medicine. It’s pretty darn incredible to look back and see the changes accompanied by the symbolism related to the Chinese New Year. 🐲

Last Year was the deep shedding of layers related to the Wood Snake. 🐍
