ADDERALL-INDUCED PSYCHOSIS
Your brain (nor your heart) does not know the difference between the following:
Having a prescription for Adderall
Taking your Rx as prescribed
Taking "too much" Adderall
Buying it off the streets
Snorting it
Using it to party or study
Your brain only knows one thing: it wants more. And eventually, it became dependent and NEEDED more.
The reason you started does not matter. The long-term effects are endless. And all too often — irreversible.
I HAVE PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED ADDERALL-INDUCED PSYCHOSIS!!!!
These episodes include, but are not limited to:
1. PARANOIA
Feeling like something is wrong, someone is against you, or you cannot trust what is happening around you.
2. HALLUCINATIONS OR DELUSIONAL THINKING
Seeing, hearing, believing, or feeling things that may not be real — but they feel completely real in the moment.
3. RACING OR DISORGANIZED THOUGHTS
Your brain will not slow down. You cannot think clearly. You cannot organize anything. You feel trapped inside your own mind.
4. SENSITIVITY TO EVERYTHING
Light, sound, touch, noise, people, conversations — everything feels like too much.
SYMPTOMS THAT DO NOT ALWAYS DISAPPEAR OVERNIGHT!!!
Some people may still struggle for weeks, months, and YEARS after stopping. That is one of the most frightening parts.
Adderall did not just affect my focus.
It affected my mind, memory, peace, and emotions.
IT STOLE MY PERSONALITY AND MY SOUL!
And that is why I keep saying this:
Adderall addiction is not just "taking too much medicine."
It can become a full-blown mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual nightmare.
IT SURE DID FOR ME.
ANYONE ELSE?????
Please share if you're comfortable. You don't have to have a dramatic story to understand or relate. Even just a "me too" speaks volumes.
Hearing others' stories helps more than you know.
