Ear infections spike in fall, and it is helpful to know what to watch for.

As temperatures drop and kids spend more time indoors, cold and flu viruses spread. Seasonal allergies linger. Both create the perfect conditions for fluid to get trapped in the middle ear. When that happens, your child experiences ear pain and discomfort.

Early evaluation makes a real difference. Sometimes an ear infection resolves on its own. But knowing what you are dealing with means your child feels better faster and you have clarity on next steps.

Twenty-four years ago, our nation faced unimaginable loss. We remember the lives taken too soon, the families who carry that grief every single day, and the first responders who gave everything in service to others.

As a practice built on community, days like today remind us of what truly matters. Showing up for one another, especially in the hardest moments.
