Congratulations to the Our Lady of Glory Social Work – Farm of Hope on its 43rd Anniversary!

Today, June 29, 2026, we give thanks to God for 43 years of history, love, and dedicated service to life.

The Our Lady of Glory Social Work – Farm of Hope is the parent institution that supports and coordinates all Farm of Hope ministries and projects around the world. Founded in 1964 and officially established in 1970 in the city of Guaratinguetá, Brazil, it has become a beacon of hope and service for countless individuals and families.

Its mission is to serve those most in need through healthcare, education, social assistance, and, especially, the recovery of people struggling with substance dependency and other situations of vulnerability. Throughout its history, the Social Work has developed housing programs for families in need, support services for pregnant women, assistance for children and young people, shelters for individuals experiencing homelessness, educational initiatives, and therapeutic communities.

Since its beginnings, the Social Work has been an instrument of hope for thousands of individuals and families, bringing recovery, dignity, and renewed purpose to those who need it most.

The Farm of Hope was incorporated into the Our Lady of Glory Social Work in 1983, marking the beginning of a mission that now reaches 28 countries around the world.

May God continue to bless this beautiful mission, its founders, leaders, volunteers, Ambassadors of Hope (AH), members of the Hope Family, the Living Hope Groups and their participants, the priests who serve within the Social Work, those welcomed into the community, men and women currently undergoing recovery, benefactors, and every person who has helped make this remarkable story of love and transformation possible.

For 43 years, sowing hope, rebuilding lives, and proclaiming that it is always possible to begin again!
