Postpartum isn’t just about the baby.

It’s about the mother healing in every possible way, physically, mentally, emotionally, while still showing up 24/7.

If someone you love just had a baby, here’s what actually helps:

Check on her, not just the baby.
Bring food she can eat with one hand.
Hold the baby so she can shower or nap.
Remind her she’s doing a good job (because she’s probably questioning everything).
Don’t expect replies, visits, or thank-yous right now.
Just show up quietly and consistently.

Postpartum is one of the most vulnerable seasons a person can walk through.
The people who support you then… you never forget. 🤍

🤰✨ STAGES OF LABOR (Simple Guide) ✨🤰

Labor happens in 3 main stages 👶

🌸 1️⃣ First Stage – Dilation
• Cervix opens from 0 to 10 cm
• Contractions become stronger and regular
• This is the longest stage of labor
• Includes early labor, active labor, and transition

👶 2️⃣ Second Stage – Pushing & Birth
• Starts at 10 cm dilated
• Mom pushes with contractions
• Baby moves down the birth canal
• Ends when baby is born 🎉

🌼 3️⃣ Third Stage – Placenta Delivery
• After baby is born
• Placenta (afterbirth) is delivered
• Usually lasts 5–30 minutes
