FUN CHIROPRACTIC HISTORY FACT

Did you know:

The Spanish Flu killed 100 million people in 6 months. This is more than the deaths of all recorded wars combined (which took place over many years).

In 1918 the chiropractic profession was only 23 years old. What independent health care observers noted was that those that sought manipulative management had 1/40th the death rate compared to those that chose allopathic/drug-based interventions.

This led to those who practiced chiropractic to be a licensed profession because of their ability to treat people with an infection. During this time, almost nobody went to the chiropractor for aches and pains; they PRIMARILY went for infectious diseases, which was during the time before antibiotic and pre-vaccination era of healthcare that we know today.

I always tell my patients that the best time to get adjusted is when you're feeling good. Your nervous system allocates roughly 10% of power for sensory perception - while the rest is for biochemical processes and movement - and progression of the most serious health conditions are silent until they are severely advanced.
