We are excited to highlight one of our incredible Recovery Options Peer Awardees: Sara I. Taylor at our Peer Impact Celebration.

​Sara is a prominent mental health advocate, community leader, and dedicated Recovery Options Board Member who has spent over 20 years advancing equity and peer support across Western New York. As the founding President and CEO of Positive Steps, her work centers on peer support, social justice, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

​To address critical gaps for families of color, Sara also founded BIPOC PEEEEEEK, a groundbreaking parent and caregiver network aimed at eliminating disparities in children's emotional health services.
