Your child's vaccine schedule is one of the best tools we have for keeping your entire family healthy, and the MMR vaccine is a great example of why.

Measles cases have been on the rise nationally this year, which makes this a good time for a friendly reminder that the MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and has protected generations of kids from a disease.

We know life with kids does not stop at 5pm. That is why Elmwood Pediatrics offers extended hours to fit your family's schedule.

🕐 Monday – Thursday, til 6:15pm (call ahead!)
🕐 Saturday: 8am – 11am (urgent illness, by appointment)
🕐 Sunday: 8:30am – 10:30am (urgent illness, by appointment)

These extra hours are great for things like earaches, sore throats, and fevers.

Heat exhaustion can sneak up fast. Here's what to watch for when kids are playing outside in the heat:

🥵 Heavy sweating
😵‍💫 Dizziness or weakness
🤢 Nausea
😴 Unusual tiredness
🤒 Cool, pale, or clammy skin

If your child is showing any of these symptoms, get them somewhere cool, have them drink water, and contact your pediatric team.
