Are you looking to keep your joints healthy as you age? From a physical therapy standpoint, the best tool is often the simplest: Walking.

Aiming for higher step counts (up to 10k) helps your body in three big ways:
1️⃣ It Lubricates: Keeps stiff joints moving smoothly.
2️⃣ It Nourishes: Feeds your cartilage, reducing arthritis pain.
3️⃣ It Strengthens: Builds muscles to support your knees and hips.

Not at 10k yet? No problem! Start where you are. Even 6,000 steps a day makes a huge difference in staying pain-free and independent.
