This Tuesday, I coordinated an educational session for our partners at Elysian Senior Homes, with Kristopher Kaufman, PT, DPT, Regional Director of Operations, joining me as a presenter. Together, we provided training for direct care staff and leadership focused on the proper use of patient lifts and safe body mechanics. This collaborative educational opportunity reinforced best practices, promoted staff safety, and supported high-quality patient care while strengthening our partnership with the facility.

Kris’s passion for education and hands-on learning was evident throughout the session. To help staff better understand proper lift operation and build confidence in using the equipment, he even volunteered to be lifted in the Hoyer. His willingness to demonstrate the process firsthand created an engaging learning experience and reinforced the importance of safe patient handling techniques.

At ADARA Home Health our physical and occupational therapist’s specialize in fall prevention, strength conditioning, balance and education to prevent falls.

Our area manager and physical therapist, Kristopher Kaufman presented falls education in Winona, MN at Callista Court.

Say Hello to the Clinical Nurse Manager at Adara’s Rochester Branch!

Kylee has been a Registered Nurse since 2018, joining Adara Home Health that same year as a new graduate. During her time with Adara she has enjoyed providing care to clients as an RN Case Manager, orienting new clinicians as an RN Preceptor, and most recently overseeing field clinicians as the Clinical Supervisor at the Rochester Branch. In her free time, Kylee enjoys travelling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
