So pleased that Dr. Tor will remain a part of our Integrated Behavioral Health satelite at Golisano Children's Pediatric Practice! She is an important part of our infant and early childhood team. 👶🏻

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Shaelise Tor to our faculty! Dr. Tor will be joining Dr. Tom O'Connor's research lab and clinical service at Golisano Children's Pediatric Practice. The lab looks at how family and relationship processes influence mental and physical health.

Dr. Tor shares, "I was born here in this hospital and grew up in the Rochester area. Outside of work, I visit new playgrounds with my sons, attend book club, and enjoy trying new restaurants with my husband."

We would like to give a huge shout out to staff clinician Tyler LePore on receiving the Monroe County Got Dreams Award last night! This recognition highlights Tyler’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to implementing Systems of Care values, particularly being youth-guided in his approach. What makes this award especially meaningful is that recipients are nominated and selected by youth themselves, making this recognition a true reflection of the positive impact Tyler has had on the young people and families he works with. Tyler consistently goes above and beyond in engaging youth and families in meaningful ways through his work as a clinician. His passion, advocacy, and commitment to supporting those we serve truly make a difference every day. Congratulations, Tyler, on this well-deserved award and recognition! We are proud to have you on our team.

AND

Congrats to Dr. Melissa Heatly, who won the Center for Community Health & Prevention Dr. David Satcher Community Health Improvement Award for her School Mental Health work!! In addition to celebrating the work across the state, we are delighted that this award honors our partnership with the Rochester City School District and dear colleague Crystal Clark.
