Good Morning! ☕️
I'm standing here brewing a 2nd coffee and listening to the stampede of elephants upstairs (my children playing 😜) and feeling grateful for this moment of relative calm and quiet ✨
Ok, full disclosure, this was past tense because now I'm here writing a post, and I'm no longer sitting in the calm 🤪
But in that moment, albeit fleeting, I found the opportunity to breathe deeply and intentionally. To sit in gratitude for a moment of harmony between my children, and a moment of pause for myself. I took a moment to check in with my energy, my nervous system, and intentionally released the tension I was still subtly holding from the last bout of conflict between the kids. Then I held gratitude for the journey that has brought me to a space where I notice and take full advantage of these small pauses (most of the time 😉).
Tomorrow we celebrate Thanksgiving, and gratitude is on everyone's hearts and lips at this time of year. I wanted to touch base with the reminder we all need at times that gratitude isn't seasonal and doesn't have to be big. Gratitude is a rewiring that we can nurture all year, through gently noticing the things we appreciate throughout our day. Gratitude journaling is fantastic, though I've never been consistent. I prefer the simplicity of allowing a deep breath when I'm in a place of pause and noticing what's beautiful about the moment I'm experiencing. Perhaps it's a headache that's finally ceased. Maybe it's the movement of branches in the wind out a nearby window. Maybe it's a special someone who has helped you carry your load in this life.
✨ I still have a few spots available this Friday, and would be honored to share in a session with you or a loved one who may benefit from showing themselves some gratitude.
🏷️30-minute sessions for $40 are only available on this day, so if you're interested in this discount, my remaining availability is bookable online at:
